about me

Born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore, I came to the United States in 1996 and has stayed here ever since.

I majored in Electronics and Communication Engineering while studying in Singapore. In 1996, I came to Los Angeles and a year later, I found my passion in CGI filmmaking. In 2001, I graduated with a BFA in computer animation from Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

I spent the next 3 years working as a volunteer in a Christian-based non-profit organization, following a 2 year period as a stocks trader. In 2006, I came down to Los Angeles and worked as 3D generalist. in 2007, I formed EQ Studios with a friend to help educate youth in the area of digital content creation.

I have worked on freelance projects in the areas of modeling, rigging, animation, product visualization, web-design and video-editing. I also teach 3D and pre-production at private schools and community centers, both for students and under-privelleged youth who have interest in CGI filmmaking.
